About Me:
After studying at a higher engineering college specializing in control and feedback control systems, I began studying philosophy and psychology at the university to pursue my other interests except technology.
During my University studies I asked myself more often how to get my bills paid and this is how I ended up at the Austrian federal railways in 2008.
There I've had the luck, to work with the best in their field and to learn from them from the very beginning. So I quickly became a technical expert for technical inspections of the Rail Cargo Group, where I coordinated the application and development of international standards for 13 national companies of the Rail Cargo Group until 2017.
This was also the way in which I participated in working groups of the UIC, the international federation of the railways with the aim to develop a coherent rail system on a global level, and how I met my current employer, Mr. Johann Braun.
Working at BR ICS is the best way for me to do what I really enjoy doing, such as having the direct contact with the people in the field, working with international working groups, developing international standards, rules and regulations as well as of course – maybe the most important – the development of myself.
