Ambitious towards a full-service offering

2015

Founded by the two managing directors Anna Rechberger and Johann Braun in a 10m2 office in the center of Vienna. The core competence of the small start-up is the homologation of rail vehicles.

2016

Initial homologation orders are completed, setting the stage for further progress. An inquiry gets things rolling and expands the range.

2017-2020

Additional rail-related services are being integrated into our portfolio to become one of the leading providers in the railway sector and to enhance our offering. What remains the same is the precision and reliability with which we implement all orders.

2020

Moving into our new headquarters at Vienna Airport marks a milestone in our growth journey since 2015. With 60 employees, we offer comprehensive services including rail vehicle homologation, safety certification, railroad operations management, wagon inspector services, load securing, rail specific trainings and real estate solutions.

2022

Successful first participation at the InnoTrans trade fair for the railway sector, marking a significant milestone. As a result, our order volume and team are steadily expanding.

2025

BR ICS was restructured, and BR ICS Military was established as an independent division. While BR ICS continues to offer full-service solutions and services in the railway sector, BR ICS Military focuses on military transport and logistics solutions. Additionally, our full-service package has been expanded with two new services: the trading of used locomotives and a comprehensive service offering in maintenance and upkeep (Entity in Charge of Maintenance – ECM).
